In 1906 six of these regional potteries merged to form Western Stoneware, which is still going strong 100 years later! The event will consist of a pottery swap meet and sale, live pottery demonstrations as well as booths to sell new pottery. The event will also feature antiques and appraisors will be on hand to let you know what your crock will fetch at auction. |

| Ravinia | Monmouth | Ravinia is a Chamber function that is held in the Monmouth Park band shell during the last Friday of June, July and August. Live music is provided by local musicians and in the past has featured Perry and Dalene White, Silk Cords and the Brooks Brothers Band. The event is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.

| Progressive Dinner | Monmouth | Progressive Dinner is an annual event and fundraiser sponsored by the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. The event features dinner that is served in stages at various locations in downtown Monmouth. Past Progressive Dinners have featured a murder mystery, a haunted house and a Pirates of the Caribbean Treasure Hunt.

| Living Windows | Monmouth | The holiday season is welcomed in Monmouth on the first Friday of December with Living Windows celebration in the downtown. The businesses decorate their windows to coincide with the holiday theme and many feature live Christmas scenes. A Santa parade, carolers, carriage rides, and live music are also featured during the annual event.

For over 40 years the Chicago Children's Choir has performed at the highest artistic level. These charismatic youngsters have performed with athe Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Joffrey Ballet, The Lyric Opera of Chicago and Chicago Sinfonietta. They have appeared at the White House and Chicago Jazz Festival and toured in Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Touring groups include a traditional treble ensemble, youth choir with change-voice young men, the Madrigal Singers, and the contemporary Show Choir. A diverse repertoire reflects their multi-racial and multi-cultural heritage. |
