Real Estate Taxes due dates are as close to June 1st and September 1st as possible annually. The Tax Sale is held the 3rd Monday of October each year. We have a County Trustee program and all unsold parcels are purchased by the Trustee. All redemptions made after the Sale are made directly to the County Clerks office (309/734-4612).
We will have a Silent Auction Sale of County Trustee parcels beginning May 26, 2009 and close for all bids on June 26, 2009, at 4:30 P.M. Auction books are available for purchase at the Treasurer's Office.
MOBILE HOME TAX COLLECTION: Mobile Home tax bills for 2009 were mailed on March 3, 2009, due on May 4, 2007. There is a $25.00 monthly delinquent fee after May 4, 2009.
ANIMAL CONTROL: Warren County Dog Registrations are due within 30 days of the vaccination for $10.00. Tags are due annually on the anniversary date of registration. Late fees are: From 31 days to 90 days the fee is $20.00. From 91 days to 180 days the fee is $25.00. From 181 days to 365 days is $30.00. After this period it is necessary to call the Treasurer office.
Warren County has a spade/neuter ordinance in effect. By the dog's second registration the dog must be altered or an ANNUAL FEE of $45.00 is imposed. Registration may be handled by mail if it is not convenient to come to the office.
PAYING WARREN COUNTY TAXES ONLINE:
The Warren County Treasurer’s Office offers a payment option through E-Pay. To pay your Warren County taxes over the Internet using most major credi cards:
1. Log on to the www.illinoisepay.com website.
2. Enter “Warren County Treasurer” in the search box, and click the search button.
3. Click on the link to the “Warren County Treasurer’s Office E-Pay site”.
4. Click on the tax payment link near the bottom of the page.
5. Fill in the payment information as prompted.
6. Receive a payment confirmation number for your records.
